Autumn is shaping up to be highly fragrant, and I'll tell you why...
Jasmin à l'aube
— eau de parfum —
Here is what the judges said:
-- “Jasmin à l'aube from La Grange du Parfumeur. Very pure, jasmine and jasmine tea with an earthy base, long lasting.”
A Forest ramble
— Sherbrooke Museum of Fine Arts —
I am happy to share with you that starting September 26, I will be exhibiting as a guest artist with an olfactory work as part of the "A Forest Ramble" exhibition at the Sherbrooke Museum of Fine Arts.
For almost 10 years now, I have been presenting art installations that elevate perfume as a major art medium. Through scent, I explore the many connections between botany, symbolism, and memory.
In recent months, I have had immense joy working on the theme of the forest, a vast subject that deeply resonates with me. I will be presenting the installation (Can You Hear the Canary's Song?) (2024), an olfactory response to the painting (Burnt Wood) (1952) by the painter Jean-Paul Lemieux (1904-1990), which will also be exhibited. In addition, I have created the wall installation Per fumum sylvestre (2024), which diffuses a second fragrance and will be displayed in the Dialogue Space gallery at the museum's entrance.
Living in the countryside, I immerse myself in the forest as a sensory oasis, shared with pollinators, butterflies, and birds that maintain its delicate balance. Through my two olfactory art installations, I question the future of winged species leaving the forest in the face of climate change.
I hope many of you will come to discover this exhibition at the MBAS, running from September 26, 2024, to April 5, 2025.

The scent route
— MEMPHRÉMAGOG —
This summer, I have had the chance to realize a fragrant project that I have cherished for several years already. Thanks to the support of the MRC of Memphrémagog, I was able to unveil this summer, a first edition of “The scent route - Memphremagog” which highlights the olfactory richness of our landscapes.
This route is an invitation to explore the territory through olfaction, following a path either on foot, by bike or by car. In this first phase of creation, I invite you to 4 stops of scented contemplation. I plan to enhance this unique experience for next summer. Knowing that some flowerings are obviously finished on this date, I invite you at this time to listen to the four audio and olfactory capsules, which are at the very bottom of each page.
