❤️ 2026 marks the 10th anniversary of Rêve à Paris, launched in 2016!
When I began creating the very first fragrance of the House — the one that would inaugurate the journey — I wanted to capture its initial spark.
Through my readings, I learned that every perfumer eventually creates their own interpretation of a rosy fragrance, a true homage to the queen of flowers. This idea resonated deeply with me, being a passionate lover of roses.
The story of La Grange unfolded slowly. Like a compass, the first fragrance marked its foundational stone: a journey of winding paths, passions, and less-traveled roads, capable, at the turn of a step, of guiding me exactly where I needed to be.
Everything came together during a memorable trip to France, where a missed appointment in Paris’s 7th arrondissement later revealed the profound connection I have to scents and perfume composition. For the record, Rêve à Paris was initially going to be called Deux filles à Paris.
In the summer of 2015, I began composing this symbolic fragrance, setting up a work table outdoors under a large tree in the garden behind La Grange. Creating outside reminded me of the Impressionist painters, who drew inspiration directly from the changing nature around them. The scented garden did not yet exist, but the idea was already planted.
I was captivated by the desire to experience the beauty of a fragrant nature, blending notes of old roses, vanilla, and tonka bean, captured during that journey and immortalized in Rêve à Paris.
This first fragrance was launched online in August 2016 with the following description:
"RÊVE à PARIS tells of a magical moment in the universe of a wonderful journey, the birth of a great dream that could only take place in the heart of the City of Light. The thrill of wandering with the passion of a spark through the narrow streets and legendary cobblestones of eternal Paris. Because every story begins with a fragrance..."
